This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy and Terms. “Cookies” below includes cookies, local storage, session storage and similar browser technologies.

Your analytics choice

Optional website and product analytics is off until you allow it. The choice is stored in this browser for up to 180 days. You can change it here at any time.

Analytics preference

Analytics is off until you choose to allow it.

1) What browser storage is

Browser storage lets a website keep small values on a device. Some values expire when a session ends; others remain until their expiry, deletion or replacement. Fursa does not use browser storage to read unrelated files or activity from your device.

2) How Fursa uses it

  • authenticate accounts and protect sessions;
  • remember theme, navigation and product preferences;
  • carry a short-lived invitation handoff without leaving its token in the URL;
  • apply security and abuse controls;
  • remember whether analytics was allowed or declined; and
  • measure product use only after analytics is allowed.

3) Essential and functional storage

Authentication, security and requested preferences need first-party storage. This can include Supabase session values, the analytics choice, theme and layout preferences, visited-state hints, short-lived access handoffs and controls that avoid repeating a dismissed prompt.

These values are not advertising cookies. Blocking them may prevent sign-in, secure invitation acceptance, saved account state or preference controls from working correctly.

4) Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, Fursa may record page paths and limited product events such as searches, job views, saves, apply-link clicks, sign-in or signup completion, Mia messages and employer-form completion. We use this to understand whether the product works and where it fails.

Session replay and heatmaps are disabled. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization are denied in Google Analytics. Fursa does not use an analytics grant to make a candidate visible to recruiters.

Declining analytics prevents PostHog initialization and keeps Google Analytics storage denied. Essential error and security monitoring may still run because it protects the service rather than measuring marketing behavior.

5) Current providers

Fursa uses PostHog for optional product analytics and Google Analytics for optional website measurement. Sentry is used for limited error and performance diagnostics, and Vercel and Supabase provide application and account infrastructure.

These providers may receive device, browser, IP, route, timestamp, diagnostic or identifier data appropriate to their task. See the Privacy Policy for international processing and the broader provider list.

6) Email delivery events

Fursa's email provider may report delivery, delay, bounce, complaint, suppression, unsubscribe, open or link-click events. Delivery and complaint events protect sender reputation and enforce a candidate's controls.

Email opens are unreliable because privacy proxies can create them. Fursa treats opens as diagnostic only; an open never resubscribes a candidate, proves active job-search intent or changes recruiter consent.

7) Duration

Session values expire when the session or provider token expires. Persistent values last for a purpose-specific period or until you remove them. The analytics choice lasts up to 180 days unless changed sooner.

A pending invitation handoff is designed to expire after 30 minutes. Provider authentication tokens follow their own security expiry and refresh rules.

8) Browser privacy controls

You can clear or block storage in browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or reset preferences. The control above is the direct way to allow or decline Fursa analytics without disabling essential account storage.

Fursa honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for analytics. A privacy signal overrides an earlier analytics grant on that browser.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when storage or providers change. We will update the date above and use an appropriate notice for a material change. We will not convert a declined analytics choice into consent through a policy update.

10) Contact

Questions about browser storage or analytics: [email protected].
