The Design Coordinator plans and oversees the aesthetic elements of a project, determining requirements, developing design concepts, preparing cost estimates, sourcing materials, reviewing progress, and consulting with clients at every step to ensure alignment with objectives, timelines and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate design activities between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
•Manage the design process including scheduling, tracking progress, and resolving design-related issues to meet milestones.
•Ensure design deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through reviews and audits.
•Maintain accurate design documentation including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
•Facilitate collaboration between internal design teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
•Minimum 5 years of working experience; 3 years relevant experience; GCC experience is a plus
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, is required
•Familiarity with design software and tools used for creating and reviewing technical drawings and documents
•Strong project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and communication skills
