Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide strategic direction and daily operational leadership for the Arabic A teaching team, including departmental action planning and regulatory compliance.
  • •Oversee design, vertical alignment, and continuous enhancement of the Arabic A curriculum across key stages/phases, integrating modern pedagogical approaches.
  • •Track and analyze student attainment and progress data to inform interventions; lead assessment moderation, standardisation, and reporting.
  • •Model outstanding classroom practice through lesson observations, learning walks, and work scrutinies; provide actionable feedback.
  • •Mentor and coach departmental staff via CPD and performance management, and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, or Education specializing in Arabic from a recognized university.
  • •Valid teaching license or qualification.
  • •Minimum 2–3 years of successful teacher or coordinator experience in an international or private school in the UAE.
  • •Minimum 5 years of teaching Arabic A (native speakers) across Primary and/or Secondary phases.
  • •Thorough understanding of UAE MoE curriculum standards, KHDA inspection frameworks, and national agenda indicators.
