Job Summary

Security Automation Engineer responsible for engineering the Barracuda XDR SOAR platform, conducting R&D on advanced security technologies, and executing attack/defend operations to test and validate detections. Will perform threat hunting, integrate APIs, develop AI-driven automations, and ensure MITRE ATT&CK coverage within a SOC environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Engineer the Barracuda XDR SOAR solution and contribute to R&D efforts in frontline security technologies.
•Participate in threat hunting across partner networks and perform attack/defend activities to validate detections.
•Ensure MITRE ATT&CK framework coverage is reflected in XDR detections and threat intelligence research.
•Train new and current cyber security analysts on technologies, processes, and best practices.
•Design and implement AI-driven security automations and RAG pipelines to enhance SOC efficiency and incident response.

Key Requirements

•5 years prior cybersecurity or SOC experience
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security or Information Security or related field
•CIH, CEH, CompTIA Network+ or Security+ or other relevant certification
•Experience with SOC tools including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, email protection, sandboxes, ticketing systems
•Experience with cloud tools such as AWS, Azure and GCP and experience working with APIs
