Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct security and sanitation checks, inventory authorized equipment, and ensure communications radios function properly.
  • •Supervise and control detainees within the secure perimeter, maintaining order and discipline.
  • •Perform detention, processing, safeguarding, and escort duties, including removals from holding areas using restraints and security measures.
  • •Attend deportation or exclusion hearings, guard detainees during transport and while receiving medical care.
  • •Make official logbook entries and reports, enforce facility rules and regulations, and follow safety policies and required training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35.02 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •US citizenship is required.
  • •Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance; pass background and consumer credit checks.
  • •Pass pre-employment and random drug tests, and complete required medical examination and health requirements.
  • •At least 21 years old with a valid state driver's license; ability to obtain and maintain a state security guard license and meet physical fitness standards.
