Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of transaction monitoring and screening risk assessments and control frameworks.
  • •Provide specialist analysis and evidence-based challenge on monitoring scenarios, screening rules, control effectiveness, and configuration decisions.
  • •Deliver analytical reviews and recommendations to improve financial crime detection, data quality, and operational controls.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert on transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and fraud controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in Financial Crime Compliance, Transaction Monitoring, AML Investigations, Screening, or Fraud Risk in a regulated financial services environment.
  • •Strong analytical capabilities to assess control effectiveness, identify trends, and perform risk-based reviews.
  • •Expertise in transaction monitoring and screening frameworks, including scenario design, typology coverage, alert generation, and control effectiveness.
  • •Ability to conduct risk assessments and analytical reviews, including trend analysis, sample testing, and control evaluations.
  • •Fluency in English (written and spoken) and strong stakeholder management with confidence to challenge proposals and communicate findings clearly.
