Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the foundational primitives upon which everything at Render is built, including compute & orchestration, network topology, traffic and routing features, and data storage infrastructure.
  • •Drive prioritization across Render's platform investments, balancing foundational capabilities with near-term product and business needs and negotiating tradeoffs.
  • •Partner deeply with Engineering & other Product teams to shape the technical direction of Render's core infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and extensibility.
  • •Develop a strong, opinionated point of view on how Render's platform primitives should evolve to serve AI-native builders, from compute to storage and runtime.
  • •Set the standard for how product teams build on Render's platform, providing clear guidance, boundaries, and abstractions to enable confident shipping by internal and external customers.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in Product Management, with the majority spent on developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products.
  • •General knowledge of how AI is being used by modern teams; bonus for perspective on agentic memory management and compute workloads.
  • •Deep developer empathy for internal engineering teams and customers, with the technical depth to make sound architectural tradeoffs.
  • •Proven track record turning ambiguous, cross-cutting platform problems into clear strategy and shipped outcomes.
  • •Strong communication and storytelling skills; experience as an infrastructure engineer or building AI agents/infrastructure is a plus.
