Job Summary

Own the application design and engineering execution of power retrofit projects, delivering safe, reliable solutions for customer requirements. Serve as a technical lead and Subject Matter Expert to align internal teams, customers, and architect/engineering partners on DCS/controls system design, technical requirements, and project objectives. Lead design reviews, Factory Acceptance Testing, and onsite commissioning, while developing engineering plans, improving processes/tools, and supporting proposals and technical presentations.

•Participate as an SME to strengthen technical capabilities, develop best practices, and mentor less experienced engineers.
•Lead design review meetings, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and onsite system commissioning, and develop/tracks engineering plans and project status reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
•9+ years of progressive engineering experience in the power generation industry.
•Experience designing, implementing, or commissioning control systems using Distributed Controls Systems (DCS) and/or Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) platforms.
•Willingness to be based in the Greater Pittsburgh area or relocate, with ability to travel up to 20% within North America.
•Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
