Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist team members in accessing Tyson community services such as housing, schools, medical services, and social services as needed.
  • •Act as mediator with outside agencies when required and provide interpreter/translator services; support translation and doctor appointment attendance with nursing as needed.
  • •Serve as liaison between the community and the facility, representing the company positively with community leaders.
  • •Work with local schools and area resources to help team members transition into the community.
  • •Develop and organize community events and educational classes (including financial education, child care, life skills, and ESL classes), and support the onboarding process for new applicants.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience with Tyson’s public relations or social service experience (preferred).
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpreter and translator skills.

  • •Work with local schools and community resources to support team member transitions.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in HR or Public Relations (preferred); may manage office staff and assist the HR Manager.
