Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide visible, on-the-ground HSE leadership across the yard to reinforce safety standards and enable frontline intervention.
  • •Enforce field supervision standards for quay equipment, external trucks, and contractor traffic (speed limits, traffic segregation, permit compliance).
  • •Exercise senior stop-work authority and escalate/resolution production-versus-safety conflicts during peak throughput.
  • •Lead proactive incident and hazard analysis to identify root causes before incidents occur; investigate critical incidents and ensure corrective actions are closed.
  • •Direct line management of the emergency response chain and deliver supervisor development and competency assessment programs across the section.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Science, Engineering, or Agriculture (or related).
  • •NEBOSH IGC and fully conversant with safety procedures.
  • •Lead Auditor for ISO 45001; preferably internal auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
  • •10+ years related experience, including 4+ years leading a team.
  • •Valid Driving License and training competence (e.g., Train the Trainer).
