Key Responsibilities

  • •Control and supervise Utilities operations.
  • •Oversee solvent reception and recovery; manage loading/unloading of tank trucks and proper document completion.
  • •Operate plant/DCS: open/close manual and automatic valves; manage control loops; start/stop and verify key on-site equipment (distillation column, boiler, refrigeration, fire protection, cooling tower).
  • •Manage raw water, softened water and demineralized water systems.
  • •Supervise other plant equipment and facilities.
  • •Oversee reception, control and supervision of raw materials.
  • •Handle van/vehicle operations.
  • •Capture and input data into the information system.
  • •Supervise process analytical control.
  • •Oversee overall production process.
  • •Direct supervision of all rotating shift operators.
  • •Control effluent shipments.
  • •Supervise installation of filters AIB Rico.
  • •In work permits, act as installation owner, approving permit when appropriate; understand and modify JSA as needed; coordinate with JSA editors.
  • •Ensure compliance with JSA risk assessments and required annexes/checklists.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineer/Technical degree required (Ingeniero/Grado Técnico)
  • •Valid driver's license
  • •Master in Occupational Risk Prevention (Prevención de Riesgos Laborales)
  • •English proficiency at least B1
  • •Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification with knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
