Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the GCIO Chief Control Office to oversee risk and control for services provided by CTO Data Technology to the Group.
  • •Act as trusted advisor to senior management by managing operational risk, including risk assessments, control environment, issues management, and audits.
  • •Provide specialist risk and control guidance: continuously improve the control environment and monitoring, and advise/design practical processes and controls.
  • •Embed the risk and control management framework, including control monitoring and assurance, driving control sustainability through automation and controls by design.
  • •Lead and manage stakeholders across geographies; present and report complex risk and control information, and chair the CTO Data Tech Risk and Control Forum and related committees.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of hands-on experience with data, technology and cyber control capabilities, preferably in a data platform environment or a 1/2/3LOD control management function.
  • •At least 5 years of hands-on experience and subject matter expertise in management of operational risk, non-financial risk and/or technology & cyber risk.
  • •Experience across Data, IT, Operations, Risk Management, and/or Audit roles requiring management of diverse risk types.
  • •Ability to identify, define, and solve problems that impact your work or the wider business.
  • •Strong communication skills to influence and challenge stakeholders, including presenting complex issues concisely in non-technical language; regulatory engagement experience is preferred and industry-recognized certificates are an asset.
