Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide layout support and design of piping systems for lead and zinc plants and related infrastructure.
  • •Design and draft equipment and piping systems in 2D and 3D drawing environments.
  • •Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches or from general engineering/design information following established standards.
  • •Prepare mechanical drawings, diagrams, and/or models using CAD/CADD software.
  • •Attend project meetings and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 57,000 - 75,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MechTech) or Engineering Design & Drafting Technology (CAD/CAM), or equivalent education.
  • •1-3 years of experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and/or AVEVA E3D, with strong 3D design/drafting knowledge.
  • •Excellent communication skills.
  • •Ability to work efficiently with strong organizational skills.
  • •Current authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
