Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop mechanical hardware for radar, support equipment and electronics for military programs across the full product lifecycle.
  • •Lead small teams with strong mechanical hardware design expertise in a fast-paced environment, focusing on ruggedized structures and interconnects.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and develop effective design solutions.
  • •Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to team development and technical growth.
  • •Participate in design reviews and conduct trade studies to support informed engineering decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • •Experience in the creation, review and interpretation of technical documentation utilized in the development or production of hardware or tooling products.
  • •Experience in mechanical design, advanced design development, manufacturing or tooling processes, or related areas.
  • •Experience in the development, creation, release, or updates of engineering drawings utilizing a 3D CAD design tool.
  • •Willingness to travel (domestic and international).
