Own buying for assigned low-value, low-risk spend categories, partnering with business owners and ensuring requests align to policy. Key Responsibilities

•Act as the buyer for assigned spend categories by evaluating incoming requests for completeness, appropriateness, and policy alignment.
•Select vendors and apply commercial judgment to confirm pricing is reasonable and ensure favorable and consistent payment terms.
•Conduct light negotiation on price, terms, and renewals for lower-value, lower-complexity spend, escalating complex matters to Procurement Managers.
•Execute Procure-to-Pay workflow tasks (requisitions and purchase orders, contract routing, document loading, and accurate record/renewal tracking) while automation evolves.
•Troubleshoot exceptions outside automated workflows, improve procurement workflow friction points, and support RFx/sourcing documentation activities.

Key Requirements

•1–2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a Procure-to-Pay function, including exposure to buying and vendor interaction.
•Comfort with hands-on, transactional procurement work while automation is expected but not guaranteed on a fixed timeline.
•Sound commercial judgment to evaluate requests, determine whether pricing/terms are reasonable, and escalate more complex matters.
•Hands-on proficiency with Coupa (requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, supplier records).
•Strong written and verbal communication in English, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests.
