Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform intermediate preventative and corrective maintenance (“break-fix”) on industrial equipment with minimal supervision.
  • •Troubleshoot industrial equipment, dismantle equipment to repair/replace defective parts, adjust functional components and control instruments, and test performance.
  • •Construct and alter physical facilities to accommodate improvements and independently perform routine facilities and industrial maintenance.
  • •Assist other technicians on more complex maintenance issues and provide support to Technician I’s and Apprentices as directed.
  • •Under an electrician’s direction, perform electrical power work such as running wires/cables, installing fixtures, and conducting testing/diagnostics.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution with at least 2 years of related industrial maintenance experience, or an Associates degree with a technical focus plus at least 1 year of related industrial maintenance experience.
  • •Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and follow manufacturer specifications.
  • •Ability to understand electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems and analyze problems and perform repairs.
  • •Experience in industrial maintenance, including preferred experience in CNC machining maintenance.
  • •Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and drawings, and use precision gauging instruments.
