Job Summary

Lead and scale AI/ML engineering capabilities, including agentic AI systems, generative AI applications, intelligent automation workflows, and core machine learning models. Own AI engineering strategy, roadmap, and governance, architecting end-to-end AI workflow pipelines and partnering with product, data science, reliability, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver omni-channel customer and associate experiences. Manage and grow a 40+ member engineering organization while ensuring safety, bias mitigation, explainability, and compliance guardrails.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish AI engineering technology vision and strategy across agentic AI, generative AI, AI workflow automation, ML engineering, platform, and services, tied to business outcomes.
•Define and execute a roadmap for autonomous, multi-step agentic AI systems integrated with existing ML and data science platforms.
•Architect and govern AI workflow and automation pipelines connecting generative AI, agentic components, and traditional ML models into end-to-end business processes.
•Lead and develop a 40+ member team covering feature engineering, agentic AI development, generative AI engineering, ML engineering, automation, and ML Ops.
•Partner with technology and product leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., legal, security, reliability) to deliver AI/ML services for omni-channel experiences and ensure safety, privacy, monitoring, and governance guardrails.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 181,400 - 290,200 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years’ experience in AI engineering, generative AI, or Data Science/Machine Learning, including experience with LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, and AI automation platforms.
•5+ years’ experience managing direct reports.
•BA/BS degree required; master’s degree a plus.
•Hands-on familiarity with generative AI tools and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI) and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen).
•Experience designing and deploying AI workflow automation solutions integrating LLMs, APIs, and traditional ML models into business processes.
