Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure production equipment and automation meet safety, food safety, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance checklists for building and production equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical maintenance problems, assign criticality, and prioritize maintenance jobs.
  • •Manage maintenance tasks/work-orders in CMMS/GSheets and update maintenance logs while maintaining quality standards.
  • •Perform facility inspections and repairs for fire extinguishers, exits, emergency lighting, and other safety features; coordinate with contractors and support upgrades.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of Facilities Maintenance experience and at least 1 year in a food processing or service environment/manufacturing industry.
  • •Experience performing work that includes prolonged standing and regular bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • •Fluency in English (verbal and written) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
