Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely unload cement from rail cars and perform railcar movements (empty and full) to maximize unloading efficiency and minimize demurrage risk.
  • •Follow and promote all plant safety guidelines, including lockout procedures, PPE requirements, and accident prevention practices.
  • •Maintain mobile equipment (e.g., tire inflation, brakes, water, and oil pressure checks) and lubricate terminal machinery.
  • •Operate terminal equipment such as a skid steer/Bobcat, utility vehicle, and track mobile/shuttle wagon.
  • •Complete preventative maintenance checks/services, perform housekeeping, inspect equipment visually, and provide backup/cross-training for lead duties.
