Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing process and equipment issues and perform on-site maintenance and repair.
  • •Identify and implement yield and product performance improvements, including developing/communicating improvement recommendations and assigning causes to yield excursions.
  • •Maintain gauges and ensure processes run on target by responding to SPC alarms and supporting planned process experiments (collecting and analyzing data and reporting results).
  • •Transition new equipment and processes through start-up and qualification, provide training to production associates, and develop/update internal documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.89 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •Meet one of: Associates degree in a technical discipline; 2+ years machine/mechanic experience as a primary job function; 1 year First Solar technical experience; or 6 months First Solar Associate EMT experience with an EMT proficiency rating of 5+ in all relevant categories.
  • •Verifiable electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Verifiable hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills for equipment and process issues on the manufacturing line.
  • •Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision and strong written/oral communication skills.
