Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop engineering assessments of network configurations for correctness, adherence to the design concept/customer standards, and schedule alignment.
  • •Coordinate with project/program leadership and the lead engineer on network architecture and key design decisions.
  • •Prepare milestone status reports and deliverables/presentations on the system concept to colleagues and end users.
  • •Adhere to U.S. Army engineering processes, submitting site-specific reports and drawings for government review, approval, and dissemination.
  • •Direct technical resources to complete tasks including network design upgrades, configuration and cutover plans, staging/pre-configuration, cutover execution, and system testing.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • •CCNA or better Cisco certification (and Cisco CCNP and/or CCDP certification mentioned as preferred).
  • •Active SECRET required to start (TS preferred).
  • •Experience designing and configuring Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, including spanning tree, SDN, VLANs, VNI/VXLANS, and VRFs.
  • •Ability to develop network design upgrades, configurations/cutover plans, and documentation with system testing.
