Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and guide a team to drive strategic verification tool/flow/methodology and quality initiatives for first-pass silicon from definition through implementation and deployment.
  • •Develop complex pre-silicon verification environments, verification components, and coverage plans to improve validation right-first-time outcomes.
  • •Create test plans for RTL validation, define and run system simulation models, analyze results, and modify test benches/tests based on findings.
  • •Plan, provide resources for, and drive engineering activities to meet schedules, standards, and cost commitments.
  • •Technically guide verification methodology and deliverables tracking with peers locally and across sites, while also supporting employee development and performance.
  • •cultivate group values and norms; identify and analyze problems, plan tasks, and drive solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with at least 15 years of experience in pre-silicon verification, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience.
  • •Experience leading pre-silicon verification environments for RTL validation, including test plan development, driving simulation execution, and debug to address failing RTL tests.
  • •Experience with RTL design and Verilog, plus SystemVerilog-based verification techniques and simulation/emulation workflows.
  • •Hands-on with debug tools such as Verdi and familiarity with CPU architecture/processor verification.
  • •Experience with Perl/Python and Linux OS; experience with UVM-based verification (SVTB UVM or Specman(e)) is preferred.
