Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage financial accounting processes and related control & compliance for Total Marketing across budget tracking, financial accounting, decision support, and MIS reporting.
  • •Consolidate and report monthly and quarterly M&P results for senior leadership and provide updates to PwC.
  • •Provide accounting guidance to Marketing colleagues and GSM on recording M&P expenses in line with GAP 720-01 M&BD policy.
  • •Review RCSA, Business Continuity Plan (BCP), and business impact analysis (BIA) with Risk Management teams and ensure SLA, SOX, and operational controls compliance.
  • •Lead process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, and support Band 28 colleagues as a team leadership role.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong communication, relationship management, and collaboration skills with stakeholders across Controllership, Business Finance, Audit and Control groups.
  • •High proficiency in MS-Office applications and Oracle Applications, along with experience using tools such as Essbase and TM1.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle large datasets, perform trend and variance analysis, and generate meaningful insights.
  • •Understanding of US GAAP / IFRS, including Revenue Recognition and M&BD policy concepts (with basic techno-finance/automation know-how as an advantage).
  • •Ability to challenge the status quo, drive continuous improvements, and operate effectively in ambiguity while prioritizing multiple demands in a matrix organization.
