Job Summary

Monitor and analyze security events across multiple technologies using SIEM and other threat data sources to detect and identify IT security incidents. Correlate logs and perform incident analysis, including forensic review of access activity, then escalate and assist remediation following operational procedures and SLA. Work rotating shifts in a 24/7 environment, document case actions, and contribute to knowledge sharing and internal technical articles.

•Follow operational processes to analyze, escalate, and assist remediation of critical information security incidents.
•Correlate and analyze events in SIEM tools to detect IT security incidents.
•Conduct analysis of log files and perform forensic review of system resource access.
•Monitor security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, switches, VPNs) and respond to inbound technical assistance requests.
•Document case actions, resolve independently within escalation procedures, and participate in knowledge sharing and technical articles.

•2-4 years of experience in information security, including security operations, intrusion detection, incident analysis/handling, log analysis, or firewall administration.
•2-4 years of experience in network operations/engineering or systems administration on Unix, Linux, or Windows.
•Knowledge of IT security best practices, common attack types, and detection/prevention methods.
•Experience analyzing and interpreting system, security, and application logs, including events produced by firewalls and IDS/IPS.
•Hands-on use of SIEM tools such as Splunk, Log Rhythm, Qradar (and similar), plus understanding of TCP/IP and security devices/events.
