Job Summary

Lead VF’s customs and trade compliance organization for EMEA from the Stabio headquarters. You’ll manage a network of Country Customs Leads and in-country teams across multiple EU member states and the UK, ensuring import/export compliance, governance frameworks, and effective internal controls. Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Legal, Tax, Sourcing, and Commercial teams to translate customs strategy into operational outcomes and drive continuous improvement, audits, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, mentor, and develop a network of Country Customs Leads across European jurisdictions and the UK.
•Provide leadership to customs compliance teams located in VF’s regional distribution centers and drive performance and capability building across the customs function.
•Ensure compliance with applicable import and export customs regulations across EMEA and establish customs governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
•Monitor regulatory developments, assess impacts, and proactively implement necessary changes; manage customs audits and inquiries with customs authorities and government agencies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate customs objectives into operational initiatives, lead continuous improvement, and standardize best practices across markets and distribution centers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, International Trade, Business, Law, Accounting, Logistics, or related field.
•10+ years of progressive experience in customs, international trade, or global trade compliance.
•Proven leadership experience managing geographically dispersed teams and complex regional operations.
•Strong understanding of customs regulations including import/export compliance, tariff classification, valuation, origin, and duty management.
•Experience working with customs authorities, brokers, and government agencies.
