Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver cost management leadership to meet client objectives.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders; produce and present final cost plans and update cost plans at design milestones.
  • •Review design services and general contractor inputs to develop cost estimates; reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, contingency management, commitment tracking, and cost auditing/validation processes.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports, coordinate funding presentations and VE sessions, support final account negotiations, and mentor/coaching talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (preferred).
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects such as commercial interiors, high-rise assets, or campus-style developments.
  • •Strong knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering, with excellent communication skills.
