Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute complex planning and design activities for multi-discipline maritime infrastructure projects across terminals, ports/harbors, offshore wind farms, and coastal resiliency initiatives.
  • •Develop and analyze calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and related documentation; critically evaluate technical deliverables prepared by junior structural engineers.
  • •Provide authoritative oversight and conduct quality control reviews of design calculations, drawings, and interface relationships.
  • •Contribute technical expertise to develop project scopes and design fee estimates for RFP responses to support competitive proposals.
  • •Coordinate the marine team with other in-house and subconsultant engineering disciplines and conduct condition assessments and site visits as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field plus eight (8) plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
  • •Professional Engineering licensure in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • •10+ years experience as a Structural Engineer with a focused experience in ports, maritime and waterfront projects.
  • •Experience with computer analysis and design software such as SAP 2000, RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, SAFE.
  • •Experience with AutoCAD and Revit, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
