Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2–5 years of experience with HVAC or ammonia systems, or completion of HVAC school.
  • •Familiarity with ammonia and plant ammonia systems plus electrical refrigeration and other industrial maintenance.
  • •Preferred mechanical skills: mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic trouble shooting; PLC controls; three-phase wiring; plumbing.
  • •Experience with plant compressed air systems and water supply systems (e.g., chill water, hot water, city water, glycol systems).
  • •Hazmat team membership and ability to complete Hazmat physical/certification; must be able to work in harsh environments and temperatures and read/write math for paperwork.
