Job Summary

Install and support building management systems (BMS) for Honeywell customers across Bristol and the South West. Perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive calls, and out-of-hours support, including commissioning small automation/control projects and modifying BMS software strategies. Troubleshoot and fault-find BMS controllers and field control systems, monitor energy-saving measures for building services, and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and reporting.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Operate, maintain, and interrogate Honeywell BMS controllers and field control systems.
•Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects.
•Modify and interrogate BMS software programs, strategies, and systems.
•Monitor and modify energy-saving measures for building services.
•Provide installations, quoted works, project support, PPM, and reactive/out-of-hours support while developing customer relations.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls, including operating and maintaining HVAC systems.
•Experience with protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus, and Modbus.
•A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments.
•Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find quickly to resolve reactive works effectively.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and customer relationship building.
