Job Summary

Lead the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of injection molding machines and automated equipment to keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient. Supervise maintenance personnel, plan repairs and upgrades, manage priorities and budgets, and coordinate parts ordering. Drive continuous improvement through leadership, training, and equipment performance optimization, while ensuring adherence to Lawrence-specific ISO procedures and stepping in during equipment-safety situations.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and direct injection maintenance technicians, providing leadership and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
•Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and plans for repairs and upgrades.
•Order parts for repairs, equipment upgrades, and retrofits while operating within budget guidelines.
•Communicate priority changes and maintenance information to departmental personnel and Lawrence-specific ISO procedures.
•Assume control of equipment when there is potential for personal injury or rapid machine deterioration; assist others in seeking appropriate training.
