Job Summary

Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHSS) initiatives for the York, Pennsylvania manufacturing region, partnering with operations to implement comprehensive EHSS management systems. Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic leadership for EHSS management systems, ensuring compliance with Trane and regulatory requirements and building a strong safety culture.
•Develop, implement, and measure safety programs, policies, training, and procedures; use EHS data processes to manage incidents, environmental metrics, and risk assessments.
•Coordinate incident and near-miss reporting, perform/coordinate root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed timely.
•Oversee workers’ compensation program administration and facilitate return-to-work and transitional duty support.
•Conduct facility and job-site visits to identify risks and hazards; oversee emergency response readiness and manage safety during integrations and chemical/SDS review processes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 97,406.66 - 135,834.99

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or Safety Sciences/Engineering (or related field) preferred.
•1+ safety-related professional certification desired (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHSM).
•5+ years of practical environmental health and safety management experience, preferably with manufacturing site and multi-location service operations.
•Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT, including experience interpreting federal, state, and local safety and environmental standards.
•Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHS data management systems (e.g., Gensuite).
