Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility study reports and review them with the Singapore C&S Team in the agreed format and by due dates.
  • •Create and monitor design specifications and detailed designs compliant with client requirements and standard codes, including complex calculations and coordination issues.
  • •Review and monitor production of calculations, ensuring QA, technical reviews, and sign-off by the Singapore C&S Team.
  • •Support tender documentation and project costing inputs, keeping the Singapore C&S Team informed on design progress and decisions.
  • •Coach and guide junior engineers, lead the design process, manage delegated tasks, and provide regular progress updates and risk flagging.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and membership to an accredited engineering body.
  • •12+ years of experience in building projects, with significant experience in a similar structural role.
  • •Proven experience designing building structures and delivering complex calculations with QA/technical review and sign-off.
  • •Proficiency with structural software including TEKLA STRUCTURES, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD PRO, RAPT, and IDEA STATICA.
  • •Fluent English with excellent understanding of technical terminology, plus good presentation, management, and communication skills.
