Key Responsibilities

  • •Deep dive into engineering BOM with engineering to ensure parts can be sourced and procured at target levels.
  • •Conduct supplier selection for specific products, leveraging the approved supplier list and onboarding unique vendors for Space & Intelligence.
  • •Drive on-time delivery by using unique solutions to overcome traditional Space industry lead-times and supply constraints.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through scoping, trade-off tables, should-cost models, and joint design development with clear statements of work.
  • •Lead the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ramp production with high flexibility.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
  • •6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • •Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
  • •Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance
  • •Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs; Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Reston, VA
