Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner.
  • •Move vehicles to and from designated auction areas and customer dealerships/businesses, following driving rules and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving.
  • •Line up, park, and stage vehicles in the correct order; locate “lost” vehicles.
  • •Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed (e.g., inflate tires, jump start using a battery box and air tank) and notify the appropriate personnel when issues occur.
  • •Assist customers and coworkers as needed and perform other duties assigned by management, including possible overtime.

Key Requirements

  • •Valid driver’s license required and safe driving skills.
  • •Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Physical ability to sit for prolonged periods, walk long distances, and perform frequent bending, climbing, and stooping; lift 1–15 pounds.
  • •Clear understanding of safety and health procedures and ability to model safety behaviors.
  • •Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent; previous auction experience.
