Job Summary

Lead the maintenance team’s day-to-day activities as a working lead, supporting production by keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. Drive safety/quality/productivity priorities, coordinate risk assessments and corrective/preventive actions, and assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis. Oversee training and daily objectives, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems (including PLC ladder logic and drives), and participate in on-call coverage and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the maintenance team in day-to-day activities while working under direction of the Maintenance Manager/Maintenance Coordinator.
•Actively lead safety risk assessments and drive prioritized corrective and preventive actions to eliminate/reduce environmental, health, and safety risks.
•Support and investigate line/equipment stoppages related to perceived imminent safety risks and assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
•Set daily objectives for the unit, prioritize/delegate/follow up on tasks, and ensure efficient and effective completion.
•Provide coaching and coordinate training for assigned employees; participate in on-call rotation, troubleshooting, and repairs, including overtime as needed.

•Knowledge of PLC functionality (including ladder logic) and drive technology (DC drive and Variable Frequency Drive).
