Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform NDI (FPI/X-ray/etch/ultrasonic/CT) to clean and inspect aircraft components, identify structural/material defects, and interpret results.
  • •Complete test reports and present findings according to customer specifications, airworthiness directives, and technical operating procedures.
  • •Maintain NDT equipment and comply with customer/FAA/JAA technical data requirements, including segregation and identification of components in progress.
  • •Follow plant tools, equipment, blueprints, and inspection gauges; perform in-line checks and verify dimensions using measuring instruments.
  • •Train other inspectors and provide technical support to the operations team; complete required NDT certification at the end of training.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years’ experience in any NDT method (fluorescent penetrant, X-ray, magnetic particle, CT, ultrasonic, etch) or certification/degree in an NDT method.
  • •3+ years of experience working in a quality or related technical role within a manufacturing/production facility.
  • •High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required to access necessary systems under the program/contract.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (preferred).
