Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as strategic interface to regulators and supervisors, building trust-based relationships at Board, CEO, and C-1 levels.
  • •Anticipate regulatory developments and engage policymakers early to shape outcomes before key business decisions.
  • •Develop and implement an impact analysis framework to assess business effects of regulatory scenarios focused on material files with >1% OP impact.
  • •Translate business strategies around digitalization, platforms, and verticalization into clear, data-driven narratives for institutional audiences.
  • •Manage and optimize Allianz’s positioning and credibility across regulatory and supervisory files while steering governance and building coalitions.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in a top-tier insurance or financial services institution, with strong microeconomic analytical capability.
  • •Master’s or PhD in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • •Strong track record in regulatory affairs, public policy, or senior advisory roles.
  • •Deep understanding of European insurance regulation including Solvency II, IDD, DORA, and the AI Act.
  • •Fluent English; additional French/Dutch is a strong asset.
