Key Responsibilities

  • •Run intake, triage, and case management for reported safety events through closure, enforcing response timeframes and case documentation discipline.
  • •Conduct investigations of serious events, including contributing factors, harm severity, and care attribution, escalating to clinical leadership when needed.
  • •Drive corrective and preventive actions to verified closure, tracking owners/due dates and extracting learnings to improve systems and prevent recurrence.
  • •Maintain the clinical risk dashboard: manage reference taxonomy and crosswalks, analyze trends in events and contributing factors, and support risk mitigation efforts.
  • •Draft and maintain safety policies and event management protocols, run debriefs/lessons-learned communication, and support regulatory/accreditation and delegated credentialing requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 121,600 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years experience in healthcare risk management or patient safety
  • •Behavioral health experience (outpatient, telehealth, crisis, or inpatient)
  • •Direct experience owning event investigation and corrective action at high case volume
  • •Fluency with data to define denominators, analyze dashboards, and plan deeper analysis
  • •Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
