Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, including scoping requirements, trade-off modeling, cost models, and statements of work.
  • •Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOMs with Quality & Manufacturing and coordinate production ramp internally and with suppliers.
  • •Manage CAPEX for NPI and perform value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility.
  • •Lead cost engineering activities (including cost curve convergence and TCO maximization), manage BOM risk and qualifications, and reduce complexity through commonality optimization.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 132,000 - 198,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering.
  • •Deep experience in sourcing activities, including time as a commodity/sourcing manager.
  • •Experience in supplier development and early supplier engagement before requirements are fully realized.
  • •Experience designing and developing electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Familiarity building high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
