Job Summary

Oversee compliance risk mitigation for Regulation W, Regulation O, and Anti-tying requirements as a second-line-of-defense partner to Finance and Law. Serve as the bank’s Regulation W Officer, provide specialized guidance on current and emerging risks, and support policy and program development aligned to risk appetite. Lead review/challenge activities, respond to audits and examinations, escalate identified risks, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, industry peers, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide second-line-of-defense compliance oversight for Regulation W, Regulation O, and Anti-tying regulations.
•Serve as the bank’s Regulation W Officer and provide highly specialized guidance on regulatory compliance risks.
•Respond to internal and external audits, exams, and information requests, and conduct review and challenge activities with escalation as warranted.
•Assist in developing policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned with corporate risk appetites, tolerances, and policies.
•Support or direct project teams implementing strategic plans and regulatory changes, and help identify, respond, and/or escalate compliance risks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,000 - 181,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or comparable education) and a compliance certification (a plus).
•Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
•Extensive knowledge of banking statutes and regulations.
•In-depth practical knowledge of internal controls, risk assessments, compliance processes, and implementation techniques for regulatory/legal requirements.
•Strong relationship management and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with lines of business and senior management.
