Job Summary

Own the physical design and verification of memory, I/O, and standard cell layouts for the Library Group. Apply layout guidelines and new process rules to deliver high-quality layouts and complete LVS/DRC/ERC and related checks within schedule. Plan floorplans and hierarchies, get up to speed on new methodologies, and communicate effectively across the library team, including leading or training junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply layout guidelines and new process rules to produce quality layouts for standard cells and I/O memories.
•Create and manage schedules, including timeline and layout floor-planning.
•Complete quality layout and verification (including required checks) within the planned schedule for experienced engineering needs.
•Learn new methodologies quickly, share ideas, and communicate well with the library team.
•Lead or train junior engineers and contribute to documentation of layout methodology, layout flow, and guidelines.

Key Requirements

•Strong layout knowledge with 3 to 4 years of experience.
•Experience with Cadence layout and Cadence schematic capture, plus CALIBRE and Hercules verification tools.
•Strong layout knowledge in submicron processes (e.g., 16nm to 1.4nm).
•Experience in digital layout (standard cells, memory, I/O); analog layout is a plus.
•Knowledge of memory layout and physical verification (e.g., LVS, DRC, ERC, Antenna, electro migration in CMOS); leadership or training experience is a plus.
