Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend services using Java and Go deployed on AWS.
  • •Implement accounting and financial processing solutions to ensure accuracy, traceability, auditability, and compliance.
  • •Design and evolve event-driven architectures that generate accounting records, balances, reconciliations, settlements, and regulatory outputs.
  • •Write and maintain automated tests validating technical behavior and financial correctness of accounting flows.
  • •Provision, monitor, and support production systems using Terraform and observability tooling; participate in incident response and code reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • •5+ years as a Software Engineer developing and operating backend services in production.
  • •Proficiency in Java and/or Go, and experience with microservices architectures in cloud environments.
  • •Strong testing expertise (unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end) and ability to design and document APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger.
  • •Experience with AWS services (e.g., SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge) plus Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and deployment pipelines (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Codefresh).
