Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a multi-year CAPEX project portfolio for buildings, infrastructure and utilities at Mount Royal and across the Canadian business unit
  • •Collaborate with plant and corporate stakeholders to identify investment needs, assess priority, and prepare preliminary cost and feasibility estimates
  • •Oversee portfolio execution once funding is approved, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints
  • •Re-prioritize the portfolio as business needs evolve while addressing stakeholder expectations
  • •Act as a trusted advisor to maintenance and operations to resolve issues and optimize project outcomes

Key Requirements

  • •Bilingual English and French; able to negotiate and discuss complex technical topics with stakeholders outside the province
  • •10+ years of experience delivering CAPEX projects related to buildings, infrastructure and utilities, ideally in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • •Business investment mindset with strong capital project focus and ability to justify investments
  • •Bachelor's degree in Building Engineering, Construction, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; PMP certification is a plus
  • •Active licensure with the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or another Canadian professional engineering association
