Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, tear-down, repair, refurbish, overhaul, assemble, test, and install designated equipment as requested by FAALC product divisions or groups.
  • •Assemble and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, components, and test fixtures; perform adjustment, testing, and certification processes.
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses and collect/record engineering data to support fault isolation and verification.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems, including basic troubleshooting and replacing failed line replaceable units (LRUs).
  • •Perform equipment installation and maintenance on NAS and inter-agency systems, including tower/radome work, corrosion control, and daily time entry into DCRS.
Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Obtain NACI Clearance (ability to obtain Public Trust).
  • •Estimated monthly travel required for this position: 70%.
  • •A valid driver's license is required.
  • •Successful completion of a physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions of minimum 125 lbs and maximum 290 lbs.
