Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor the team, providing long-range strategy and consultative direction to senior management.
  • •Involved in all areas impacting the team including performance, automation, and development; help resolve issues quickly.
  • •Contribute to system performance optimization, post-silicon validation, and robotics algorithms/science discussions.
  • •Collaborate across domains, including ROS2 frameworks and perception/planning components, to ensure robust system design.
  • •Drive automation and tooling improvements to support engineering efficiency and product quality.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of relevant experience in system performance engineering, profiling, bottleneck analysis, or post-silicon validation.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with Linux system performance analysis; exposure to Android and virtualized stacks is a plus.
  • •Good to have experience with ROS2 framework, Robotics algorithms and components (perception pipelines: SLAM, visual odometry, sensor fusion; planning & control loops).
  • •Kinematics, dynamics, and real-time constraints; Middleware communication patterns: pipes, shared memory, zero copy; QoS tuning; RT kernel.
  • •Proficiency in Python/Bash/C/C++/Perl for automation, data processing, and reporting.
