Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct supplier selection for specific products using the approved supplier list.
  • •Partner with strategic suppliers on concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, and joint design via statements of work.
  • •Develop and consolidate the manufacturing BOM with Quality and Manufacturing to ramp production with high flexibility.
  • •Be accountable for NPI component procurement, on-time and correctly, and manage CAPEX for NPI.
  • •Lead cost engineering and supply network optimization through value-stream mapping, BOM risk assessment/alternate sourcing, vendor qualifications, and TCO/cost reduction activities.

Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in sourcing, supplier development, and early supplier engagement for product/engineering requirements.
  • •Background in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.
  • •Experience as a commodity/sourcing manager and in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related component and product work.
  • •Familiarity with high-mix, low-volume product development environments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or related technical degree preferred; U.S. citizenship required.
