Job Summary

Lead project controls for major energy capital projects by building and maintaining integrated schedules and cost plans. Use Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project to manage baselines, critical path, and contractor timelines, and apply rigorous cost management, forecasting, and variance analysis. Produce weekly/monthly dashboards and performance reporting, support risk and change management, and partner with project teams and stakeholders to improve delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, including baselines, critical path analysis, float consumption, and recovery planning.
•Prepare and control project budgets, cost plans, commitments, accruals, expenditure, and approved changes while supporting monthly forecasting and reconciliation.
•Integrate schedule, cost, risk, and change information using WBS/CBS and maintain integrated project controls standards and systems.
•Maintain project risk registers and support risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and change management so approved changes are reflected in reporting.
•Produce weekly and monthly dashboards/performance reports and present planning and cost performance information to project leadership teams.

Key Requirements

•Significant project controls experience with strong Planning & Scheduling and Cost Management capabilities.
•Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, including developing and maintaining integrated project schedules.
•Experience preparing and maintaining project budgets, cost plans, forecasts, and performance/variance reporting.
•Strong understanding of project controls principles, including risk management and change control.
•Ability to integrate contractor schedules into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and support mitigation/recovery planning.
