Job Summary

Develop and lead the technical direction of the Viewer ecosystem and product workflows for construction industry web applications. Tackle complex, ambiguous, cross-team problems spanning systems and domains, defining architecture, platform capabilities, and engineering practices. Drive adoption of shared platform frameworks and patterns, improve engineering velocity, and lead root-cause analysis to deliver scalable, high-performance, extensible solutions. Partner with Product, UX, and platform teams to shape the roadmap and mentor engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, cross-team initiatives affecting the viewer platform, products, and services.
•Identify, frame, and prioritize high-impact technical problems aligned with product and platform strategy.
•Break down complex, ambiguous problems into clear approaches and executable plans.
•Influence and align multiple teams on engineering practices and architectural standards, acting as a technical authority for key trade-offs.
•Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities and improve engineering velocity through tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
•10+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale or platform systems.
•Expert-level experience building large-scale web applications using React and TypeScript.
•Strong experience designing and evolving complex system architectures across multiple teams or domains.
•Experience with CI/CD and automated testing (e.g., Jest, Cypress) in Agile environments with short release cycles.
