Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the key day-to-day client interface and lead a value-added cost management service for Life Sciences projects.
  • •Develop and present cost plans, produce and review cost estimates with design and general contractor stakeholders, and reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Negotiate change orders, perform quantity surveying and cost controls, manage cost checks/valuations, and support post-contract cost variance and change control processes.
  • •Coordinate cost information from NPA, subcontractors, and quantities from A/Es, and prepare funding presentations and coordinate VE sessions with stakeholders.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports, manage cost impact/contingency and commitment tracking, negotiate final accounts, compile built cost records, and mentor talent.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 118,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
