Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Be an active member of the Technical Services department, working with Operators and Engineers to meet site KPIs and develop strategies to optimise equipment reliability and efficiency
  • •Manage own working hours in line with site priorities and requests from the Technical Services & EHS Manager
  • •Spend most of the time on the shop floor monitoring equipment and upskilling operators while challenging poor performance
  • •Execute planned corrective and preventative maintenance schedules allocated to the Plant Technical Expert
  • •Review and validate standards (SOPs, CILs, SWIs) for Autonomous Teams where required

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with advanced skills and demonstrable experience in a high-speed manufacturing/processing environment
  • •Proven ability to perform fault diagnosis/rectification on automated PLC-controlled equipment and packaging machinery
  • •Experience delivering process improvements in a World Class environment and leading maintenance initiatives
  • •Ability to review and validate standards (SOPs, CILs, SWIs) and to support training for operators and technicians
  • •Strong problem-solving, safety discipline and the ability to work on the shop floor managing multiple maintenance requests
